I am a Midwestern woman graduating from Kent State University with honors in the fashion design program. I come from the heart of the United States, a part of the country that values family, friends, and community. From my earliest age I have been interested in the great diversity of people and cultures around me and have been fascinated by their art and fashion. From San Francisco to New York City, from Chicago to Dallas, I have had the opportunity to meet colorful, interesting people and learn about fashion design. I am a costume designer, who has been significantly influenced by periods of historical fashion and enjoy reimagining fashion choices through the centuries to make them a vibrant part of twenty-first century couture. I am looking forward to working with a company that focuses on women’s ready-to-wear, creating designs that help women of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities feel beautiful.
